Ed and Kitty Meadows have been involved with horses for many years and
over the past ten years have come to appreciate the qualities and
attributes of gaited horses, especially for trail riding. The Meadows
accidentally discovered the comfort of the gaited horse when they
acquired an appaloosa mare that turned out to be gaited! She was a “Walka-lossa”.
As a result of this experience and also riding gaited horses owned by
friends, the Meadows have experimented with a number of gaited breeds
and have come to the conclusion that the double registered Tennessee
Walking Horse/McCurdy Plantation combines the disposition, gait and
size best suited to their trail riding needs. We invite you to view

horses including Tennessee Walkers, McCurdy’s, Rocky Mountain, and
double registered Tennessee Walking/McCurdy Plantation and well gaited
